what does empathy mean?

WHAT  DOES EMPATHY  MEAN!!!!

Empathy means to put yourself in another persons shoes and see what is like in their shoes. To understand the other person's side of the story. It means When there is a new kid at school and  he/she has no one to play with, you look over to that person and say to him, “do you want to play with us?”  

THAT IS WHAT EMPATHY MEANS!!!!!

GETTING READY FOR FRIDAY TO DO MY GROUP SONG!!!!!

Getting ready for Friday to do my group song at my school assembly. It first started of when we were sitting outside the staff-room and were singing songs with a guitar. We were singing Rude and then our principal came out of the staff-room and came to sit next to my friends and I. He said “would you boys like to sing this Friday at assemble”?

“YES!!!!” We all said out loud.

The song that my group/band are going to sing is Rude by Magic. When i got home I sat down and search up Rude by Magic then clicked on the link and played it when it finished loading over and over again.

I am so excited. I cant wait till we get up in front of everyone on stage and sing the song. It will be my first time but I'm going to try my best. it will be easier when I sing the song with my group/band.

 When the British came to NZ were the Maori were living with chiefs in each villages.

The British wanted to start a new life in a new country. After they stayed for a while they wanted a treaty to be signed so NZ could be under the sovereignty  of British.

Before the day the treaty was going to be signed there were problems accruing to  whether the treaty was going to be signed. The Maori chiefs asked questions about if they sign the treaty what would happen after that. The next day the British put up a tent several hours before the signing of the treaty.

PRIZE GIVING!!!!

Lining up in our classroom lines we walk into the hall and site down in our class lines. Mr. Burt went up in-front of all of us and started the prize giving. First Mr. Burt started the prize giving with a movie. After that Mr. Burt got on stage and started talking about progress in writing and maths and also talking about a whole lot of sports we our school have been in at the Auckland level.

Next came the year 5 prize giving awards for the kids who were getting prizes. there was a whole lot of kids that I didn’t even know that went up but I still clapped. After the year 5’s  had their prizes given to them they had to go back on stage and do their dance. Watching the year 5’s do the dance on stage was alright. After that was the year 6 students turn for prizes.I was most surprised with the year 6 sports.

It was EPIC with the sports. The year 6 dance was good to. Next came us year 7’s turn for prizes. When Mr. Burt Called up the upcoming house captains and prefects for 2014. When Mr. Burt called up the house captains for Takitimu he called up Jorja and Tj Seuoti-Folau. When he called my name I was shocked. It was like I was day-dreaming, but I wasn't. Prize giving last night was cool.

ACTION WORLD!!!!

Getting of the bus outside of ACTION WORLD. The year sevens all walked into the entrance. We all waited for the man from ACTION WORLD to come and tell us what we were going to do next.

We sat down on the tables in the middle of everything.Next the man told us the rules for the day. We had to take of our shoes and socks.

We had to get into groups. My group was room 21 and 22 year 7 boys.After the instructor told us the rules we all went of in our groups to the activity we had to do.

We went on the JUNGLE SWINGS first to start of the day. First the instructor told us who to do it. After she told us what to do we started doing the activity. When it got to my turn I got nerves. Walking to the edge of the platform i reached out and got the first jungle swing bar and swung. Before I knew it i was done.
