My first day at school.....

MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL…

  Walking into my first classroom I was scared because my mum and dad left me. All the kids staring  at me while I went to the front of the class and stood there. My teacher said to me “What is your name”.  “My name is Tasesa”.  “Everyone this is Tasesa”. “Hello Tasesa”. Walking across the room I said to myself “I don't want to stay here I want to go home with my mum and dad”.  As I sat down on the mat a few kids looked at me so I looked at the ground as if I didn't know were I was. As my teacher walked across the room over to the white-board she said everyone's names that were at school today in my classroom. She talked louder then i had ever imagined. When she finish doing that the bell rang like there was a burglar trying to steal something from my school. “Morning tea time everyone” my teacher said I a joyful way so we all got up and went over to our launch box to get a snack to eat. Walking outside there was a heap of people walking all over the place just like a pile of ants scattered around the place.

 As I sat down on the brown, wood bench in front of my classroom I saw my older brother hanging out with his friends. He was enjoying it. While i was eating my morning tea 3 boys came over to me and said “Hey Tasesa do you want to be my friend”. “OK I nervously said”. So I went of and played with them. So that was my first day at school and it was great.

Today we had 40 minutes to write about our first day of. From looking at our writing we are going to set some writing goals for the term.
