Diving of the plane.

When Max was About to jump off the plane from thousands of feet

high. Looking down towards the ground it feel like he was going to die. It was a new experience for Max, because had never jumped so high before.

Seeing his sister  in comfort she didn't look worried at all. In the plane it was cold & started to give him the shivers.It felt like a waste of time. The time he took was almost forever.His palms started to sweat & his whole body was also starting to get numb. Then butterflies started to kick in & now he was at the point where he wanted to throw up.

He could see the clouds, gliding through the sky.He looked down it felt like I was the  tallest guy in the world.  His face was getting red, his teeth rattling. He ran & crouched behind the gear, while his heart was pounding he breathed in through his nose, out through his mouth.

Just before he jumped he took another gasp of breath still while his teeth were rattling. Flying in the middle of nowhere Max was the happiest kid in the world. He had came over his fear of heights. He could feel the wind rushing towards his face. It was like his skin was peeling of slowly.It felt like glory for the first time ever in his life.

school rugby training

SCHOOL RUGBY TRAINING!!!!

After school when the bell went our teacher let us go so I went to the boys toilets and changed into my training clothes. After I put them on I went on to the field and waited for our training to start.

When training started we all had to line up on the first set of cones. We had to wait for the coach to say go then we run to the first set of cones then ran back to the start.

We turned back around and ran to the second set of cones and when we finished that our coach said to us if we come back to the line after that person then you do ten push ups, the whole team had to do it to.

When all of that was done with we split the team up into forward and backs. The backs went with my dad the coach and the forwards went with our other coach. When we the backs went with my dad went to the other side of the field to start on our game plays/structure.

I was the half-back. We started of with straight hands until the last person/winger. Some of us had to work on our passing.The first thing we did was I pass the ball to the 5-8/first-five then he gives the winger a short ball back in.

He takes it down and I wait for three seconds for the back line to get ready then I passed it to the first-five. He passed it to the next receiver and that receiver passed it to the end. The second play we did was when I passed the ball out to the first-five he passed it to the second-five and he takes it down.

I run to the ball pick it up and pass it quickly. Our training was easy today and fun at the same time. That was my training for school.

TRAINING TODAY!!!!

When I got to my team training me and my friend put our bags down, changed our clothes and joined in with what the whole team was doing.When I got the ball I had to run with the ball to the middle and pop the ball up in front of the other player. After that warm-up we all had to spread out on the first line and wait for the whistle to go, we all ran to the first line and went down.  

When we got to the end of the field we had to put our chest on the ground and had to wait for the whistle. There the whistle went we got up as fast as we could and sprinted to the other side of the field. We had to do 6 more of those.

When that exercise was done with we split up into our teams.

The under 9’s went of and the under 13’s went of to start working on the team plays. We got into our positions and waited for our couch to tell us what move to do. We had 3 new moves. They all were awesome moves to have in a game. At the end of the training we were all exhausted from everything.

 SHOW NOT TELL

1.Mary’s sister was waiting in the car, she was pressing down on the steering wheel. While she was moaning in the car Mary was looking for her shows. Her legs were as fast as the wind. Her hands were digging through cloths like a truck digging mud out of the ground. Mary’s sister’s face was getting red.

2.It was the last minute of the final match of the basketball competition. Tama had to shot 3 penalty shots to win the finals. All of the team was relying on him. Looking at the hoop Tama was trying to concentrate but there was lots of noise.

He bounced the ball about 5 times then hopped of the ground and flung his hands out in front of him. Flying across the court the ball hit the edge of the rim, rolling round the hoop it went of the side and miss. He missed the rest of the shots and then the other team jumped up with pride.

Tama was sad. After the game one of the teammates was talking about him. He lost his mind and through a fit/tantrum.

this year

I have enjoyed my time in room 20/class 4 so far since I have attended this school.

It is a good environment for new coming students.

We have one of thee best educational facility.

We have a lot of help from our teacher Ms Squires, she helps us with everything we need to finish our work on.

She is one of my favourite teachers at this school because I have only been at this school for two years.

Everyone is cool to hang out with/play with.

I can’t wait till we get to the middle of the year.

EASY AS 123 ABC

AS ALWAYS

After school I got home. I asked my dad if I was allowed to go to my friends house and he said yes but I had to be back in 40 minutes. So I got out of my school uniform and put on different clothes and ran to his house.

Just when I got to his house he was about to leave. I stopped for a second to get my breath back. After that we played in front of his house. We were playing basketball. It was fun playing with him.

After that I ran back home. I got home just in time. There the Elders were at our house just after me. We all got a chair and sat down outside at the back of my house.

First we went around the circle to say what did we do today. After that we said the prayer. Out through the lesson I learnt a lot about the LORD and Jesus.

Today

 My day today

It wasn't like any other day. When I got to school I helped put up the tents for the year 5 and 6 boys and girls that where going to camp. We had to use every part of our body.

We had to put up 40 to 50 tents up. It took us a while to do it. Some tents had missing peace's and some had broken parts. We started be for school and finished during morning tea. We the tree helpers had to retire for putting up tents.

After school I stayed and helped with some games that were going on for the years 5 and 6 kids. We were playing softball, tag and dodge ball.It was fun playing softball because when they gave me an easy pitch I hit the ball so far I jog it back to home base.

It was fun playing dodge ball too because the balls were going everywhere and there were lots of people on the same spot as everyone else.

Today

GOING TO SEE THE BREAKERS

When we the 80 kids that got chosen to go see the breakers got to the T.C. gym centre we went inside to the basketball courts we sat in our class lines. After that we had to go to the side of the court. We were going to shout out the breakers players.

When one by one player come in we shouted out their name as loud as we could. Lastly was C.J Bruton came in we gave our all because he was the Captain and he was a competitive player on the court.

After all of them came in we played a game. you had to shut the basketball into the basket. There were 2 kids from each school. If they missed it they wouldn't get a B-ball but that didn't happen they would eventually get a ball anyway.

When that game was done and dusted we play against the Breakers team. It would be a mission to beat them but guess what? They weren't trying they just let kids past them. They were so tall that when a person tried to shut the ball in it got blocked.

At the end of the day it was fun.

MY DAY!!!

My day was awesome. I woke up early in the morning got my lunch put it in my bag and said to my dad “see you after school dad”. I proudly said

So off to school I went walking all on my own to school. When I got to school there weren't that much students so I just walked around school and waited for my friends to come. Suddenly people started to make their way to school. I walked back to class with my friends when the bell went.

Morning tea my friends and I went to the front courts and played. We ran around having a lot of fun. Ring, ring, ring the bell went we went back to class. It was a fun morning tea time.

Going into our classroom we had to get our work finished and start on our maths task. We were aloud to work on our D.L.O stands for Digital, Learning, Object. It is about what we did in the holidays. Before that we had to do 15 to 20 minutes a Math Whizz a maths learning site.

The bell went, it was lunch time. We grab our lunch and go outside of our classroom and sit down to eat our lunch. The second bell went we walked to the top field. We waited for the sports teacher to come out with the gear for tag for the year ⅞ boys. I was in the Blue team and I was going to play against the red team.

At the end of the game it was a draw. I got 3 to 5 tries. We went back to class and did the same thing.After school I walked home with my friends. We laughed all the way home. When I got home I played outside with my little brothers and their friends on the trampoline. Today was a cool day for me.

THE LITTLE MERMAID

The story is about King that had six beautiful daughters but he was not a King of the human world. He was a Merman from the sea. He was the King of the sea/ocean. He lived deep deep under the sea in his palace with his six daughters.They all loved it when their Grandmother read them stories about the humans. How they have 2 legs to stand on. They were aloud to sea the human world when they were 15 years old.

When the oldest sister was 15 she  was allowed to see the human world. When she went back to her sisters she told them all about it. 9 years past and the youngest sister turned 15. She was allowed to go. She rose up to the surface and saw the sun shining and felt the light breeze passing by.

She looked around and saw a ship, she could hear humans laughing. There she saw a young Prince walk out to the deck. He didn’t know anyone was looking at him. He was so handsome. Suddenly the sea was pushing against the ship. Then the ship started to sink under the sea. The Price was struggling to swim so the mermaid went and swam him to a nearby beach,she lay him down and went back. 1 a few months later the mermaid and the Prince knew each other. They got very close that they wanted to get married (HOW DO YOU THINK THEY CAN GET MARRIED?There was a magic potion for the mermaid to grow 2 legs.)

So one year went by and they got married. They lived happily ever after.

My touch game on friday

MY TOUCH GAME ON FRIDAY

The first six players from each team went onto the field. I was one of them. My team tapped the ball first to start of the game. When we tapped the ball we went to the side. First touch, planted the ball between our 2 legs and move to the side so next runner could come to take the ball, touch he planted the ball between his legs and moved, it was my turn so I ran up to the ball my fastest and then I got touched. 

The dummy picked up the ball and passed it to the first receiver then he drew in the wing and past the ball to the man outside of him and got a try. We went back to half way. It was the other teams tap. They tapped the ball off and ran straight up and planted the ball. The dummy picked the ball up and past it to the first receiver but the he dropped it.

At the end of the first half we were winning 5 to 0. I got one try.
It was the second half. The other team tapped the ball off and dropped it. We quickly went over the ball dummy picked the ball up and past it to the next person then he took the first touch. 
Past it to the next person he ran and drew one defender in and past it then try. After that try we got another seven tries. At the end of the game we won 13 to 0. I got 2 tries at the end of the game.

MY DAY

MY DAY TODAY!!!!  

My day to day was normal. At school today we did the same things. Today my school and I had FIAFIA practices today. I am in the Samoan Senior group. 

Today we had to practice our boys dance today. If we put effort into our dance we got to get an Ice-Block each. We put effort into our dance and we got an Ice-Block each.

While we were eating our ice-blocks we were talking and enjoying time with everybody. After that we went back to class and waited for the bell to ring so we could go home. 

Ring,ring, ring the bell went. On we got up and went to our teacher. I got two pieces of newsletters to take home. 

After I got my newsletter I walked home with my friends. When I got home I got inside the house and got out of my school clothes and put on different clothes to wear outside to play with.

If You could say anything to the world what would it be ?

On a beautiful day Joshua Iosefo came into our class & asked our literacy What Spoken word was? some things that he explained about the subject where. Our class had different ideas to what it could it be, my thoughts on the subject where that Spoken Word could be a performance of art based on words.

If I was to stand up in front of the world & share my thoughts on what some of the worlds problems or & New Zealand's problems would to stop child abuse because it doesn't help the child & the family as well. If I had the opportunity to speak I would talk about how much parents need to stop abusing and tell children to stop stressing out their parents & start to listen. I'm just saying that because I have experienced that but now I'm a changed person, I would just say to my parents. Currently I am now enjoying my life you should too!

SOFTBALL TODAY

First game. I start first at batting for my team “Batter up” said the umpire so I walk up to the plate and get ready for the pitcher to pitch the ball.First ball goes up, second ball goes up, third ball goes low then the four ball went up so that was 4 balls and 0 strikes. I had to take the walk to base 1. Next batter for our team came up to the plate.

Ball one, I  steal a base to base 2. Ball 2 I take another steal to third base. Waiting, Waiting then BANG the ball went flying down the field I run home and my friend get a home run. That was 2 home runs no outs for my team. A Few minutes later “Side away” we had to swap sides and go fielding. Strike 1, Whack the ball went rolling then our pitcher got the ball and through it to me and got the person out.

At the end of the game we won 10 to 0.

Second game we won 10 to 1.

Our third game was the semifinals and we were playing Parnell school. I started first again. I waited for a good pitch then BANG the ball went flying down field and I got a home run, We won that game 11 to 1. We made it to the finals and we were going to play against Sylvia Park. They were the hardest team in the competition. We had to bring our A game.

We start of batting so I get the bat of the ground and walk up to the plate. Thinking to myself if we will win and will get a good hit on the ball. Strike one no balls. Second up ball one. Third I hit the ball and it went rolling on the ground and went past 3 or 4 people so I ran as fast as I could run. I ran from base one to base two to base three then ran it all the way home. The next batter got out then the next one after him got out too. One more batter left. He hit the ball down the field and got a home run too.

At the end of the game we lost 2 to ⅞. We came second placing for the Eastern Zones tournament.

Soft ball tomorrow!!!

SOFT BALL EASTERN ZONES TOMORROW!!!!!   

When we get to the Eastern Zones for Softball tomorrow us year 8 boys are going to try to win the Eastern Zones. Our boys will take the whole thing out but there will be some good schools like Bailey Road school. They will be the hardest school to beat.

GOOD LUCK FOR THE YEAR 8 TEAM TOMORROW!!!!!

my touch game on friday

MY TOUCH GAME ON FRIDAY

When we got to the College Rifles we got out of the van. We had to warm up for 10 to 20 mins then we had to go to the field that we were going to play on. I got on the touch field ready to start the game off. we tapped the ball and did the 3 man train on the right side of the field. On the third touch i got the ball and ran my fastest and went down the side line. Next thing you know I got a run away and scored a try.

That was the first try of the game.We went back to the half way and the other team tapped the ball. Our team called one person to go up and make the touch. They dropped the ball and it comes back to us and I score another try. That was the second try of the game.

The game goes on an we score about 3 more tries to nil. Half time, run over to our couch. He talks to use so we know what to do the next half. Second half, the oppositions tap. I get another try.

At the end of the game we win 10 to 1. A big hiding. At the end of the game I scored 3 tries and the rest of the team scored 7 tries. I was proud of the game.
